{"id":2648,"date":"2026-01-16T08:02:49","date_gmt":"2026-01-16T08:02:49","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/comfortel.pl\/projekty-unijne\/ras-4-now\/"},"modified":"2026-05-05T12:06:44","modified_gmt":"2026-05-05T12:06:44","slug":"ras-4-now","status":"publish","type":"projekty-unijne","link":"https:\/\/comfortel.pl\/en\/eu-projects\/ras-4-now\/","title":{"rendered":"RAS 4 NoW"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p><strong>Project title:<\/strong> Multimodal support system for personalised therapy using metrorhythmic stimulation and walking with poles \u2013 RAS 4 NoW.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Project objectives:<\/strong> The aim of the RAS 4 NoW project is to develop an innovative system to assist in monitoring body movement and human fitness parameters during recreational or health-promoting walking. The system is designed for early prevention and, in the event of abnormalities in the musculoskeletal or cardiorespiratory systems, also for long-term and controlled correction. The use of poles fitted with sound recorders provides auditory feedback. The system operates on the basis of a mathematical model of musical entrainment.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Brief project description:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The aim of the project is to support health-promoting activities that have been adversely affected by current lifestyles, the rise in so-called \u2018junk\u2019 food, and reduced physical activity due to the pandemic. The research problem involves providing a form of bio-cybernetic feedback such that the signals generated by a person walking can be conveyed to them in a clear form that inspires coordinated and improved further training. This utilises the neural effect known as \u2018music entrainment\u2019, i.e. the initiation of motor activity through metrorhythmic impulses (Rhythmic Auditory Stimulation). The project\u2019s competitive advantage is ensured by an interdisciplinary team comprising biomechatronics engineers, neurologists, physiotherapists and anthropologists.
