What is VOCATEL?

The VOCATEL information distribution system is an advanced solution that supports internal and external communication in companies, institutions and public bodies. Thanks to its modern mechanism for creating communication scenarios, the VOCATEL SMS notification system lets you run even highly complex information campaigns in a straightforward way.

The system enables fast message delivery to large audiences across multiple channels — SMS, email, voice calls or visual notifications. The most common format is SMS notifications, which — thanks to stable infrastructure deployed on the client’s premises — operate instantly, without disruption and in full compliance with information security standards.

How does the VOCATEL system work?

The VOCATEL information distribution system is built around flexible, user-defined notification scenarios. Each scenario can cover multiple recipient groups and individually chosen contact preferences — for example a primary and backup communication channel. Thanks to integration with the organization’s internal IT infrastructure, the public alert system can be extended with additional functions such as automatic triggering of visual beacons, alarm sirens and display boards, or interoperation with alarm and fire-protection systems. As a result, the SMS notification system significantly increases safety and the efficiency of crisis management.

Compliance and functionality

VOCATEL meets the requirements of the Regulation of the Polish Minister of Energy of 26 November 2016. Its modular design allows easy integration with other technical solutions, so that when deployed as a public alert system it operates consistently and reliably in any conditions.

SMS notifications can be triggered automatically by a change in a monitored value (e.g. a sensor reading), or launched manually — with a single button press or an authorized SMS. This guarantees instant information delivery to any number of recipients with minimal operator effort.
